RD #2 of the 2026 Canadian Enduro League Presented by The Inside Line was a return to a classic venue for some amazing racing and tight times!
Round #2 brought us back to a long-standing Canadian Enduro Venue. This classic has set the stage for some of the best riding we have had the pleasure of experiencing.
Our U19 Pro women's category saw a dominant performance by Echo Slobodzian winning all 5 grueling stages and won the category by just under two minutes. Her time would have put her in the mix for the Pro Women's podium! Charlotte Gadbois Schuett took second place and Keely Bathurst took third place. In the U19 Pro Men category, we saw local ripper Nash Jamieson take another commanding win, also winning all 5 stages and taking the win alongside Nolan Wiess in second and Mateo Quist in third
In Pro women we saw some more tight racing with Geza Rodgers, Hannah Gillcrist and Emmy Lan all taking stage wins throughout the day. Lan ended up with some mechanical problems after stage one causing a flat tyre, but came back to win stage 2. Hannah Gillcrist rallied back to take a stage 4 win on the same second as Geza Rodgers who took the win on Stages 1, 3 and 5 to take the overall win after a tough day out on course. In the Pro mens Category we saw one of the tightest battles in Canadian Enduro league history. Local riders Elliot Jamieson and Lief Rodgers, who fought all day trading stage wins with no stage coming down to more than 2 seconds between the two riders. Coming into our final stage, Blackhawk Down, they were split by 0.3 of a second. Lief Rodgers took a spill on the trail in a worn-down corner making the race even tighter. After all was said and done they were separated by 0.4 seconds on the day with Jamieson taking the win over Rodgers with Jack Menzies taking third place with a super consistent day taking third on every stage.
At the end of the day, we are stoked to give back $4500 to the local trails association, the FVMBA, who helped tune up the trails to be as ripping as they could be for the weekend's racing!
